Artist Riding's work on display
Lynne Riding, internationally acclaimed artist and full-time faculty member of the College of Charleston, will display her work at The Art Institute of Charleston gallery through June 13.
Riding's earlier art form includes representational work often located outdoors, and her more recent form consists of mostly abstract pieces, both of which will be on display.
Riding's art will be displayed at the Art Institute on North Market Street in downtown Charleston during the gallery's normal hours from 8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays.
Riding will donate 20 percent of the proceeds of the pieces sold at the gallery to the Education Management Corporation Foundation.
